³³ He was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he ruled for sixteen years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Jerusha daughter of Zadok.

³⁴ He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, like everything that his father Uzziah had done. ³⁵ But the high places were still not removed. The people were still offering sacrifices and burning incense on the high places. He built the upper gate for the House of the Lord.
